Another Year Gone Bye

Its wierd
Nearly a year has gone by since my 1st Blog and after reading my last blog, i was amazed that a year has gone by
Things got worse as the year went on but the last 3 months of this year has been really good, not just financially but also mentally
I was just chatting with my nephew and god child and he forwarded a Blog to read.
I read it and realised i also had tried to start Blogging and checked my blod post ...

The year 2009 has been tough to say the least ..
Lost my Job in Feb and to my luck i did manage to pick up free lance work for a couple of months that kept me going

But the Months of June, July , August and September really tested my resolve, but thanks to my wife and a couple of friends (Shaji, Sanjiv, etc) i kept on pushing and thanks to the Lord and my friends i have manged to build a nice small setup for event production

In fact the blog my nephew send me to read awakened me
It made me realise who I am and what i have been doing my whole life

I am what i am not the run of the mill guy, have done what i felt was comfortable doing and not what i had to do.

anyway enough for now and lets see will try and blog on a regular basis

The Year that was

The year gone by has been full of ups and downs.
The ups have been to opportunity to visit quite a few new countries (atlhough mostly on work), work on some intresting and challenging projects.
And the downs have been also quite a few, the main have been the passing away of a good friend (Paper Tiger), the impeding doom due to current economic crisis, etc
I can easily say that during the year I have managed to one prove my bosses trust in me right and also prove to myslef that i can handle tough and challenging assignements and events.
I guess the truing point professional came with the event on last dec 30th and the event on the 6th of Jan. Throught the year the Brand Re-Launch, Cityascape Duabi we also major achievements for me.
I just feel that athough i did gain a lot in materialitic things like my lovely 4x4 the Prado, my not so modest size 50 inch LCD TV, taking my family for a 1st ever international vacation, I wish i was able to achieve more.
My 3 resolutions for the year ahead are
1. To try and complete my graduation with an official degree
2. To try and get my weight down to a 2 digit figure
3. Stop "wasting" money

Also i would like to spend more "quality time" with the wife, try and find things that we both like to do together. This is one issue i want to tackle seriously. The reasons are nto just enough will power and effort from my end mostly

Lets see what the new year brings. I hope the year is good for all around especially the economic situation the world over espcially here in Dubai
